Office Depot Foundation

Deadline: October 31, 2014

The Office Depot Foundation supports activities that give young people tools to succeed in the school and in life through education and inspiration, as well as programs that help non-profit organizations to serve the needs of their communities efficiently and effectively.

ALA Midwinter Scholarship from EBSCO

Deadline: November 3, 2014

EBSCO is offering five scholarships to ALA members in the amount of $1,500 to attend the Midwinter conference. One of the five scholarships will be awarded to a first-time conference attendee. The scholarship money is to be used for conference registration, travel, and expenses. Candidates must complete the application and submit a 250 word essay on the following topic: “What is the most significant challenge or opportunity for your library in 2015?”

Innovative Reading Grant

Deadline: February 1, 2015

AASL members may apply for a $2,500 grant which supports the planning and implementation of a unique and innovative program for children which motivates and encourages reading, especially with struggling readers.

Reiman Foundation

Deadline: Ongoing

The Reiman Foundation supports the dedication, imagination and courage of many worthy organizations, particularly those involved in education, health care, the arts and children’s initiatives.

Praxair Foundation

Deadline: Monthly

Praxair gives priority to organizations where their employees volunteer their time and talent. Their key areas of giving are education, diversity, healthcare, environment and disaster relief.

Coca-Cola Foundation

Deadline: Ongoing

The Coca-Cola Foundation supports learning inside and outside the classroom. One of their priority funding areas is education and youth development.

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Foundation

Deadline: Ongoing

The Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Foundation supports organizations that provide families access  to the knowledge and resources they need to build better lives.
